The culture I grew up in considers Tulsi or Holy Basil plant sacred. Unfortunately, my green thumb isn't green enough to help this plant survive the winters in the Netherlands, yet. So, I leaned on my painting process to keep the positivity of this plant around me. Back-lit leaves, as it often happens, made their way into my composition :)

Please note that colors may appear slightly different on your screen than in reality due to variations in our device settings. A coat of protective varnish also deepens the hues slightly. I try my best to make sure that the image you see is as accurate as possible but sometimes minor differences in warmth or saturation may remain.
