My friend adores a red maple tree on her street. When I visited her a few days ago, we were both a bit bummed to see most of its glorious red leaves had already fallen to the ground. It looked gorgeous still, but you know, it just left us both slightly sad. Its bright leaves could have stayed a few more weeks. Well, thankfully, she now has this painting all year round in her home. I hope this can be comforting through changing seasons :)
